Gary Coleman is an American actor that became famous for his role in Diff`rent Strokes, playing the part of Arnold Jackson. He was born in 1968 with a serious kidney problem. He suffers from congenital kidney disease that stopped him from growing at an early age. He has made two kidney transplants one in `73 an done in `84 and since then he needs daily dialysis. He played in other movies that the one that made him famous like : The Jeffersons, The facts of life, and Good times.



Because of his problem , he has only 3 feet 10 inches, some say that the tv show Different Strokes was canceled. The serial couldn`t go on much longer, because while one of the brothers in the show was obviously growing taller the other one wasn`t suffering any changes. His disease hasn`t stoped him from continuing his life, he was married and then divorced after a while on a national tv show. He followed his career with great ambition and he became known as the small wonder boy.

Gary Coleman Growth Problems could be fixed some doctors say. Because he changes treatments, there is the possibility of growing again. With the new treatment he has, he will have to stop taking drugs and so it`s possible he could grow again. Some people start to get taller and some remain the same. Gary Coleman has 41 years right now and his chances of life are normal. His daily treatment is kind of hard but after so many years he has made a routine out of his sickness.

Coleman`s behavior and fame for being a bad boy has lead to many court settlements. He once hit a woman after an argument about an autograph, he was also convicted for disorderly conduct towards his wife. He appeared on tv show divorce court with marital problems and made public all the details about his intimate life. Coleman had also a car accident, in a parking area when he hit a young man. He wasn`t charge for anything but the media had a great time following their story. Gary Coleman is a little person with a bad temper but after all his problems he is still loved by fans. He was also a candidate for governor in California but when Arnold Schwarzenegger announced he was entering in the elections he said he will vote for Arnold.

As a conclusion Gary Coleman Growth Problems haven`t stopped him from doing exactly what he wants. Even if people may be a little judgmental he doesn`t have a problem with himself, he feels comfortable in his own body and this is what makes him such a pleasant character. He is very smart too and people seem to love each of his appearances. Coleman is an example of a fighter and of a surviver. He will always be remembered as the tiny boy from Diff`rent Strokes.
