Pekingeses Health Problems are usually problems particulary for their little stature and the most common cause of their death is usually heart failure. Other health problem is the fact that they are very sensitive and they tend to catch many colds even from feeling just a little bit of chilly wind. Pekingeses need many things besides a warm meal and a roof. They need special attention because they have a very large coat of hair. After every walk in the park owners of pekins need to clean their legs and their fur of leaves and burs. They also need to be daily cleaned in the eye area because they might catch an infection. These little dogs seem at a first glance to be the perfect dogs, but they also need much attention.
Another Pekingeses Health Problem is that the females pekins have trouble when giving birth. Usually these animals need to take birth in a clinic through cesarean. Also they can have a rare disease that makes their eye lasces grow the other way, meaning they grow into the eyes and not outside them. Although they seem lazy and too small to put so much effort into just a walk, they are very athletic and full of energy. They can live up to 10 -15 years depending on how they are taken care of. Some pekingeses have mate with other breeds and they have created other breeds. The puppies are very sensitive and so they need extra attention and while they are little they are not that strong to survive a little naughty child.
This breed is perfect for people that like dogs and that like having a company. They are very smart and they can understand you and learn very quickly what they are allowed to do and not. In the end, this breed is perfect for families and for old people that want to take care of someone. Pekingeses are cute, they like to play and they can complete one`s lonely life.
