The World Bank is a bank that gives financial and technical assistance in order to develop countries with programs as making roads, bridges buildings. The World Bank has a set goal and that is to reduce poverty. Since forever making a loan from a bank means paying monthly a sum to cover up your debt. Well nowadays, with the financial crisis, loans are more harder to obtain and the requests that need to be completed to be able to take a loan are very drastic. As a conclusion more people have dropped the idea of having a loan and have reduced their monthly costs. No one wants to take a loan anymore and so, banks have to suffer. Another problem in the World Bank and with the IMF (internationally monetary fund) is their globalization of market forces. The globalization of the economy-led by the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund have put pressure on governments to remove barriers for the flow of money and products over the borders.

There have been many advancements in the development of high technology and cars and so firms have traveled around the world in search of great sails making amazing sums of money. In this rate the globalization of market forces has developed unequal regarding the life standards in different regions of the world. Now many of the richest people in the world receive the majority of the percent from the worlds income. Poverty is growing and those very rich get richer. No one thinks at the well being of everyone. People just want to become more richer and so there are many interests between big companies and large banks across the world. All institutions are ruled by people, and people are weak and very easily influenced and tempted.

The World Bank gives loans, grants and other financial support for it`s member states. The Bank offers two types of loans : investment loans and development policy loans. The grants that the Bank offers helps at the facilitation of development projects through the support of innovations. Very important is also the cooperation between organizations. Grants are used for : helping countries solve their debt problems, support of the program that helps the reduction of serious diseases like for example combating AIDS, malaria etc.

The countries that need the most help are those from the east like Africa, East Asia mostly : Mongolia, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, Laos, , Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India and others. The World Bank deals with many problems, but nowadays the most threatening one is the crisis. All countries are affected and so, the headquarters of the world bank in Washington need to find quick solutions. Until then, everyone suffers and tries to survive the best way possible. The crisis has made everything more expensive and the salaries are the same. In countries where the national currency is lower that the European currency meaning the euro or the dollar, the way of life is very hard.
